Canadian Comedy legends Carolyn Taylor (Baroness Von Sketch Show) and Elvira Kurt (Ellen DeGeneres HBO Special/The Tonight Show) star in a hysterical night of revelry under the stars at the picturesque Eddie Hotel and Farm. 

Weaving acrobatically between sketch, stand-up and simulated Olympic figure skating, Taylor and Kurt will dazzle audiences with the comic equivalent of a triple lutz!

Carolyn Taylor is an award-winning writer, artist, actor and comedian. She is one of the cocreators, executive producers and stars of CBC/IFC's Baroness von Sketch Show. As showrunner for the first three seasons of Baroness, Carolyn was thrilled to see the team nominated for a total of 25 awards (CSA, CCA, ACTRA, DGC, ROCKIES), winning 12 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Sketch Show/Series, Best Writing in a Sketch Show/Series (2017, 2018, 2019), the ACTRA Award for Best Ensemble (2018), and the Canadian Comedy Award for Best TV Show (2018). 

Carolyn honed her skills in improvisation and social satire at The Second City in Toronto, writing and starring in five original main-stage revues. She has written sketch, political commentary and episodic for Canada's major networks including This Hour Has 22 MinutesThe Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos, CBC Radio's This Is That and Gavin Crawford's Because News. Carolyn and her long-time pal and collaborator, Aurora Browne cohost season three of The Great Canadian Baking Show). She performs regularly at comedy venues around Toronto doing a mix of stand-up, storytelling and a simulated Olympic figure skating routine.

Elvira Kurt, comedy legend, gay icon and trail-blazing national treasure has won all the Accolades –locally, as a Toronto Fringe Festival Patron’s Pick & NOW Magazine Top 5, nationally, winning both a Canadian Screen Award & Canadian Comedy Award and, internationally, with a Cannes Film Festival Award for Women Seen and the Gold Prize at the World Film Fest for Big Girl Now. Now in her fourth decade of the showbiz, Elvira broke new ground again with a featured role in the first openly gay storyline on the Treehouse Network in the Emmy Award winning kid’s show, Miss Persona.

During the Covid19 pandemic Elvira was the first stand-up comic to receive a National Arts Center grant for an hour long set online as part of CanadaPerforms, hosted ‘Queer Pride Inside’ for CBC Gem and appeared in the virtual variety show that is Vancouver’s revolutionary TRANSFORM Cabaret Festival.
