Summer Book Club
The County Stage Book Club is a chance to come together as a community to read, connect and have fun.
This season’s books have been curated in collaboration with Picton’s Books & Company to shine a light on subjects and themes throughout our season, while also giving you, dear reader, a fun summer reading list!
Once a month we’ll meet up to share a drink, expand our horizons and take a moment to pause and connect. Join us for a conversation led by special guests and company members from Festival Players and Books & Company.
Book Club Members will receive a promo code for a 15% discount on Festival Players Summer Season shows and a 15% discount at Books & Company to purchase the selected books in-person at their Picton shop.
The Boxcar Cowboy
The 1930’s. The dollar flatter than work at the cannery. Fifteen years old and no future in sight? Charlie would chase one to the end of the rail line that ran out of town.
Presented by Station Road Arts in association with Festival Players. Join them with their Roamin’ Theatre Roulant with stops around the County all summer long to see the horse drawn theatre pull up and perform. Special presentation at our home The Eddie Hotel & Farm August 4th & 5th.
