County Stage Company is currently casting for its 2025 summer season.  Our general auditions are being held in person. 

Audition #1  Mar 2, 2025 - Toronto, Ontario

Audition #2 March 9, 2025 - Picton, Ontario (Prince Edward County)

Please note that each performer cast in the company will perform in two roles for the season  in the following productions:

Flowers by Deborah Porter Taylor – A poignant drama inspired by the Dionne quintuplets, exploring sisterhood, identity, and resilience.
Bittergirl: The Musical by Annabel Fitzsimmons, Alison Lawrence & Mary Francis Moore, Music Supervision, Arrangements and Orchestrations by Bob Foster  – A hilarious, feel-good musical about love, heartbreak, and empowerment, set to classic doo-wop hits.
Snow White by Greg Banks – A fresh and innovative take on the beloved fairy tale, packed with humor and heart for audiences of all ages.

CASTING:

Bittergirl - The Musical

A: A woman in her early 30's, living with The Love Of Her Life.

B: A woman in her mid to late 20's, dating The Most Amazing Man She Has Ever Met.

C: A woman in her late 30's to early 40's, married to Her Soulmate, The Father Of Her Child.

D: Everyman. The universal dumping guy who has a different relationship with each of the three women - because the actor plays a different man in each of the three women’s lives.

With A: Busy business man who is too cowardly to tell A why he is actually leaving. His handsome face, his searching eyes, the way his lip trembles when he raises his eyes to hers and says “I’m going to be the bad guy in all of this” - as he forces her to Break Up With Herself. Oh, The Coward.

With B: Dreamy artist who just up and leaves when the magic runs out. B was his project, his painting, his sonnet, but now he needs some new inspiration. Magic Man: the enfant terrible of breakups.

With C: Loving dependable father who, in the time it takes C to read her child a bedtime story, has decided this life they’ve built together isn’t for him. No, he wants to be a zoo-keeper, a cop, a news anchor, anything but the man formerly known as her husband. We know him as The Mountie.
